About El Charro Restaurant

In March of 1970, in the north east corner of our existing parking lot, sat a small empty “hamburger stand” that boasted a new sign; “El Charro Restaurant”.  This is where the story begins.

Several members of the Chagolla family gathered together old family recipes and began the El Charro Restaurant.  With many a prayer and tons of hard work, the restaurant took off.  They had almost instant success and within a short period of time realized the need to knock down the tiny hamburger stand and build a new building with a lot more tables and room. This is the building that still stands today nearly four decades later. 

Our philosophy is simple; serve a quality product combined with a relaxed atmosphere and great service and people will come.  We have no pretentious notions about our food.  It is made with fresh ingredients daily and served with a smile. We serve a variety of classic Mexican dishes and have developed numerous specialties to compliment the basics.

Our atmosphere is casual, relaxed and unique unto itself.  It truly is handcrafted food with handcrafted décor and ambience, within a few visits here you will be known among the wait staff and soon they will be greeting you by name as you pass through the doors and getting your drinks ready even before you sit down to order your favorite meal.  We welcome you and hope you enjoy your meal.  Buen Apetito!
